The Rail Industry's favourite networking evening was another huge success in 2023. What will 2024's dinner bring?
Mainspring's 'Dinner at the Roundhouse' is a chance for the biggest names in the rail industry to gather together and celebrate the last twelve months, forge new connections and look forward to the future.
Returning as our keynote speaker in 2023 was Andrew Haines. As both the CEO of Network Rail and the GRTT, he was uniquely placed to provide all the latest updates and crucial information relating to the project and its progress. As well as this, we were honoured to reveal that Councillor Baggy Shanker, the leader of Derby City Council, will also be sharing his views on the positive economic impacts that these changes will have on Derby and the East Midlands itself.
Celebrating collaboration and innovation, Dinner at the Roundhouse brings together operators, manufacturers, constructors, consultants and partners from across the supply chain with national and local politicians to discuss the opportunities that the future can bring.

We were delighted that Andrew Haines agreed, once again, to be our headline speaker for the event in 2023 in his role as not only the CEO of Network Rail but also as the CEO of the Great British Railways Transition Team.
It is not just about the party however - it is also a time for the rail community to show off its generosity. To date, we have raised over a quarter of a million for our chosen charities and, with your help, we hope to raise much much more! Last year, our guests' donations allowed one of our charities, The Royal School of the Deaf Derby, to complete work on their school library. We could not be prouder to help support them and their students through the medium of our events.
